Have you ever wondered what would it be like to just take the day off, make a beautiful breakfast, take it outside, sit in the sun, and just bask in the simple beauty of the moment?
I did, and than my husband and I decided, it was time to stop day dreaming, wishing and hoping, and just do it. About 6 months ago, we decided to pull all our resources together and take the leap, go for the pie in the sky and make our dream home a reality.
Instead of looking at the blue skies through our apartment window, we bought our selves a little piece of paradise of our own, and we never looked back. Choosing to live a simple sustainable life is our goal. Living off grid, has had it's adjustments, but we'd never trade it for the world. Besides, we've managed to change things in our everyday life, that we've been meaning to do for a long time.
Here's today's breakfast for two. Yesterday was Valentine's Day, and Rey, knowing I'm not all about crazy clutter, and unnecessary spending, he got me what matters, the 1 yellow rose you see here, as a Forget Me Not. The Blue skies, fresh air, bright sunshine and our delicious homemade feast, is better than anything we'd get in a restaurant... IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ALOHA, and what we share in this moment. Love the live we choose to live.
Breakfast Menu: Egg omelet, fresh papaya with lemon juice, banana, and potatoes, mushrooms and Portuguese sausage, Kau Coffee, and the best company in the world, each other.
