So many of my clients first contact me because they are reaching the age that they feel they NOW have to take better care of themselves, since their doctor or Insurance health provider is making it mandatory they take a exercise class to improve their over all health. Let me just say firstly, exercise is not a punishment for feeling guilty for eating that extra piece of cake or pizza, not to mention drinking a few beers. And if you're MD, is telling you it's now time for you to taking fit classes or going to the gym, he or she wasn't doing you an favors early on in life. They should have been encouraging you a long time a go to incorporate fitness activity on a daily basis. That being said, it's never too late, but you got some catching up to do. So here's my advice, get a really good personal trainer, fitness coach, or fitness instructor that can listen to your needs and advise you what to do next. We're all at different fitness levels, and having a baseline to start is the most safest and smartest step to take. As the saying stated, some people TRAIN, you don't have to be a professional athlete or in high school sports to train everyday. I like to think of life as a contact sport, after all everything you do is one on one, you either live life to the fullest and be ready for what comes your way, or you die, being frail, ill, and dependent on your kids, or have to pay for adult day care. What do you want? If you want to live, call me, find out about my classes, my personal training sessions, coaching and nutrition. I also do small group sessions for special occasions. If you don't want to go it alone, collect your friends, employees, or family and let's train as a group.
